Connect to App Store Connect

To successfully connect App Store Connect, you must:

  1. Have an account with Admin or Account Holder access to generate API keys.
  2. Set permissions for the API key to access the following:
    • Sales and reports

Step-by-step

  1. Go to “Users and Access > Integrations” on App Store Connect.

  2. Click on the ”+” sign to generate an API key under team keys.

    Important: If you don’t see this page or the button, you’re not an Admin or Account Holder. In that case, your best option is to ask the owner of your developer account for help.

  3. Assign a name (e.g., Appstack) and set the access level to “Sales and reports”.

  4. Copy your Key ID and download your API key.

  5. Open the API key file to find your key.

  6. The Issuer ID should be visible on the same page.

  7. The Vendor ID is available on your Payment and Financial Reports page.

Connect App Store Connect with Appstack

  1. Add the Vendor ID, Issuer ID, Key ID, and Auth Key (ensure you keep the “-----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY-----” and “-----END PRIVATE KEY-----” intact).
  2. Check credentials and save.
If you encounter errors, ensure your API key has sufficient permissions. If needed, generate a new key with more permissions.
